WARETOWN, N.J. (WILX) -- A New Jersey Halloween display depicting a fake car crash scene with bloody bodies is causing controversy among neighbors.
Kevin and Krysten Negrotto created the display outside of their Waretown home to celebrate the upcoming holiday.
The Halloween scene in their yard shows a white Toyota Supra rammed into a tree, pinning a victim with fake blood splattered everywhere. Another victim's body is on the ground nearby, depicting it was thrown several feet from the vehicle in the crash.
There's yellow caution tape wrapped around the area.
The rest of the Negrottos yard is filled with more traditional Halloween decorations. They say police have been called and told them some residents don't like the display. But police say they can't issue a ticket for the decorations, so the Halloween display is not going anywhere.
