Mega Millions results for 10/24/17; jackpot worth $25M

LANSING, MI - There was no winner of the $25 million Mega Millions jackpot for the drawing on Oct. 24, as the jackpot continue to slowly climb.

That means the drawing on Friday, Oct. 27 will be worth $30 million with a cash option of $18 million. The jackpot will also start to increase more as Friday's drawing will be the first under the new rules of the game where tickets will now cost $2 per play.

Mega Millions jackpot winner comes forward, plans to continue working

Mega Millions winners for Oct. 24:

While there was no grand prize winner, one player in California matched all five white numbers drawn to win $1 million.
However, that player did not play the Megaplier option which would have increased their winnings to $4 million.
There were 339,846 tickets sold that won at least $2 in the drawing. In Michigan 15,073 tickets sold won at least $2 in the drawing.
In Michigan, two tickets sold won $2,000 in the drawing. That was the largest prize won in the state.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Five balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 75; the Mega ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 15. The odds of winning the jackpot is 1 in 259 million.

Mega Millions is played in 44 states, plus the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $1 each.

The next Lotto 47 drawing is also Wednesday night, Oct. 25 at 7:29 p.m. with a jackpot of $3.85 million. Deadline is 7:08 p.m. that day.
Wednesday's Fantasy 5 jackpot is an estimated $115,000. The drawing is at 7:29 p.m. Deadline is 7:08 p.m.
