Brandon T. jumped, spun around, hugged mascots and wore a giant smile on his face.
Standing midfield at Lucas Oil Stadium, his name was drawn as the winner of $1 million.
"I feel fantastic," he said once he exited the field, cheered by thousands of Indianapolis Colts fans.
Brandon won $1 million from the Hoosier Lottery as part of the myLOTTERY All Cash Millions 2nd Chance promotion.
He entered a non-winning $30 All Cash Millions Scratch-off and was chosen as one of five finalists for the big prize.
All five finalists won $500 and were invited to Lucas Oil Stadium for the live drawing.
Despite knowing he had a one-in-five chance of winning $1 million, Brandon didn't prepare for it.
He lives in Portage and didn't bring a toothbrush or a change of clothes.
He also hadn't thought too much about how he would spend it.
"I was positive about it, but it's a chance," Brandon said. "So, I wasn't counting my eggs before they hatched."
Although Brandon is still sorting out his plans for his $1 million prize, he knows for sure he wants to put his house on the market and buy a new one.
A railroad maintenance worker by trade, Brandon enjoys playing Hoosier Lottery games for fun.
