Tom Rogic is dreaming of being drawn against Sweden when the World Cup draw takes place in Moscow on Friday.
The Hoops midfielder is expected to be part of the Australia squad for the tournament next summer and would love to come up against his Parkhead pal Mikael Lustig .
The duo are part of a group of five Celtic stars potentially going to the World Cup with Dedryck Boyata, Cristian Gamboa and Erik Sviatchenko all expected to be included in their respective squads.
But Rogic admits that a game against Lustig and Sweden tops his list of teams to play.
He told the Celtic View: "Obviously Mikael had the same play-off system to go through and it's really exciting for him to be going. Cristian qualified a little while ago, Dedryck is part of the Belgium squad, while Erik has a chance of being part of the Denmark squad.
"The draw is later this week and it would be nice to draw Sweden or Costa Rican and to play against a couple of the boys.
"Sweden would be my No 1 choice. I'm quite close to Mikael and to face each other at a World Cup would be a special feeling and a pretty cool moment.
"I have already said to him that it would be cool to draw them."
The classy midfielder was a key part of the Australia team as they beat Honduras in the play-offs, coming up against former Hoops defender Emilio Izaguirre and Rogic loved catching up with his old pal.
He added: "I spoke to Emilio in Honduras after the game there and it was good to see him. I spent the best part of five years here with Emilio and we became good friends so it was nice to see him, although it was going to be difficult for one of us missing out.
"I also spoke to him after the second game in Sydney and he actually went off injured in the match which wasn't nice to see. I obviously wish him well and hopefully we will cross paths again in the future. He's a tough competitor and a very good player."
