Humane Ohio hosts fundraiser drawing more than 300 guests

Humane Ohio hopes to have brought in as much as $45,000 at their fundraising dinner and silent auction Sunday (WNWO).

Coming together to help spay and neuter animals. That's what people were doing at the Hilton Garden Inn in Perrysburg for the sixth annual Spay-ghetti & No Balls Dinner & Silent Auction.

Guests were able to win Disney tickets, play games and even participate in a photo booth.

They did all of this, while raising money for Humane Ohio.

"The turnout was incredible. Last year, we had 247 people attend. This year, we have 332 people, which is almost 100 people more. Obviously, we have the space to accommodate it, and everybody is having a really great time," said Humane Ohio Marketing and Development Coordinator, Kaylie Spotts.

Last year's event raised $37,000. Spotts said Humane Ohio's goal this year was $45,000.
