The Mega Millions jackpot is on the rise again, with no jackpot or $1 million winners Tuesday night.
The jackpot has risen to $405 million, eighth largest in Mega Millions history, and will be drawn Friday. The cash option would allow the winner to take home $235 million.
The winning numbers Tuesday night were: 2, 22, 29, 31, 34 and Mega Ball 1.
While there were no big winners, 30 people matched four white balls plus the Mega Ball to win the $10,000 third prize, and six of those are worth $30,000 because the ticket holders bought the optional Megaplier that multiplies the value of the smaller prizes. One third-tier prize was sold at Little Falls Beverage & Bar in Little Falls.

New Jersey residents have had luck with major jackpots in 2018.
A Vernon man won $533 million from Mega Millions in late March, which was the fourth-high jackpot the game had ever awarded at the time, and the second-largest won by a single person. A Riverdale mini-mart sold the ticket. Since then, a single California ticket won a $543 million jackpot in July, though that was split among several people in an office pool, according to the Mega Millions website.
A Little Ferry man won a $351.3 million Powerball jackpot in May. The winning ticket was sold at a Shoprite in Hackensack.
The next Powerball drawing is Wednesday night, and the jackpot is estimated at $229 million.
