LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) - La Crosse Police are seeing results from their new method to get parking violators to pay up.
Four cars were booted in the first six days of the effort and one more was towed.
Owners of two of the cars have made payments or arrangements to get their cars back.
The boots are installed on cars with at least five outstanding parking tickets at least 60 days past due.
You can pay your parking tickets online at the City of La Crosse's website to avoid getting the boot yourself.
