2018 began with a national championship for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide and it will end with Alabama on the brink of yet another shot at college football glory.

Lots of other stuff happened between the Saban/Alabama dynasty bookends: Highlights, lowlifes, buffoonery, sadness, tragedy and lots of tawdry political stuff. So much stuff I couldn't draw fast enough to keep up with it all. But I tried. Here, in semi-chronological order, are a few cartoons that offer a glimpse of the twisted history of 2018.
