BUTTE – Two Butte students were the top finishers in a statewide art competition to design an ad for Energy Share.
Representatives from Northwestern Energy and Action Inc. were at West Elementary Friday to present the award to the top two finishers for the best drawing to support the Energy Share program that provides assistance for people struggling to pay their utility bills.
First place went to Axel Lemler and second place is Bladen Horne, both in fourth grade.
“There’s a lot of drawings gone through and it’s always fun to see them, but the drawings that won first and second place certainly are very good drawings,” said Tony Flynn of NorthWestern Energy.
Axel’s drawing will appear on a billboard on Montana Street in Butte next month.
