When an Edinburgh mum ordered a takeaway pizza from Mamma's in the city centre via and included a note asking them to tell her sick six-year-old a joke, she probably wasn't expecting them to actually do it.
But not only did they rise to the occasion, they drew a fantastic (and very funny) cartoon as well.
Posting on Reddit, Edinburgh mum SparklePantsJr (probably not her real name) shared a photo of both the request and the cartoon, with the caption:
"Pizza place delivers... on pizza and jokes."
The note on her Just Eat order read:
"Flat 3
"Please can you write a silly joke on the pizza lids - my six year old loves jokes and is feeling unwell :) thanks."
When it arrived, the pizza had a cartoon dog eating a slice of pizza inside the lid, with the caption: "What is a dog's favourite pizza? PUPERONI!"
The pic subsequently went viral on the popular 'HumansBeingBros' subreddit, getting a whopping 47,000 upvotes, and almost 500 comments.
A lot of people were impressed with the quality of the drawing, e.g. DeepGhosts, who said: "10/10 for drawing skills."
Makoreactors added: "No one gonna talk about how they just had an artist on deck at this pizza place? This place rocks!"
And plenty more praised the employee who drew it, with one person saying:
"He could’ve easily delivered it without putting the joke, but he spent his time drawing a joke to make the kid feel better."
This has honestly made our day. Well played, Mamma's Pizza, well played.
