The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery drawing is worth $113 million with a cash option of $80.8 million.
The winning numbers were: 3, 9, 11, 34, 39. MegaBall: 10. MegaPlier: 4x
No one won Tuesday’s $65 million top prize in the sixth drawing held since a single ticket bought in New Hampshire hit the $168 million jackpot on July 23.
Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 7, 27, 31, 34, and 51. The Mega Ball drawn was 5 with a Megaplier of 3x.
The Mega Millions jackpot has been won five times this year, including once in New Jersey. Michael J. Weirsky, of Warren County, won the $273 million Mega Millions jackpot from the March 1 drawing.
Mega Millions tickets cost $2 each and in New Jersey must be bought by 10:45 p.m. on the evening of the drawing. The odds of a ticket hitting the jackpot by matching five numbers and the Mega Ball are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have 1 in 12,607,306 shot to win the second prize of at least $1 million by matching five numbers.
Mega Millions is played in 44 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
