PARMA, Ohio – Do you remember the huge Queen of Hearts Grayton Road Tavern raffle payout of more than $5 million in March 2018? Well, one lucky person could become a millionaire again tonight.
Grayton Road Tavern in Cleveland has continued its Queen of Hearts raffle, but it’s now bigger than ever. The bar is working in conjunction with Legends Sports Bar & Grill in Parma, where Wednesday night’s drawing will be held around 8 p.m.
Reporter Jane Morice will be at Legends tonight before and during the drawing. She will be streaming live video on cleveland.com’s Facebook page a couple of times between 7-8:30 p.m., explaining the game’s new rules and showing the scene, including the drawing and if the Queen of Hearts is revealed.
There’s only eight cards remaining on the board. If the first ticket pulled finds the Queen of Hearts, the lucky person will win 90 percent of the jackpot; the remaining 10 percent will be kept to start the pot for the next game.
As of about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, the jackpot is more than $1.9 million.
Since the Grayton Road Tavern Queen of Hearts game sparked huge local attention in 2018, more rules have been added to the game.
One new addition since the 2018 game is five tickets will be drawn from the tickets purchased that week, instead of only one. However, only the first ticket pulled will have the chance to reveal a card on the Queen of Hearts board. All other tickets pulled will only receive a prize payout, according to the Legends website outlining the rules.
