The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery drawing has jumped to $139 million with a cash option of $99.5 million.

The winning numbers were: 4, 11, 13, 19, 31. MegaBall: 10. MegaPlier: 4x

While no one across the country hit Tuesday’s $127 million jackpot, a ticket sold in Long Island City, Queens, New York matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball. It’s worth $1 million.

In New Jersey, three tickets matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball and are valued at $10,000 apiece. They were bought at at 7-Eleven on South Summit Avenue in Hackensack, Rinal Convenience Store on Park Avenue in Freehold Borough and Kings Route 1 Truck Stop on Routes 1 & 9 in Elizabeth.

Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 13, 20, 27, 61 and 62. The MegaBall drawn was 5 with a Megaplier of 2x.

The Mega Millions jackpot has been won five times this year, including once in New Jersey. Michael J. Weirsky, of Warren County, won the $273 million Mega Millions jackpot from the March 1 drawing.

Mega Millions tickets cost $2 each and in New Jersey must be bought by 10:45 p.m. on the evening of the drawing. The odds of a ticket hitting the jackpot by matching five numbers and the Mega Ball are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have 1 in 12,607,306 shot to win the second prize of at least $1 million by matching five numbers.

Mega Millions is played in 44 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
