The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery drawing is worth an estimated $71 million with a cash option of $48.8 million.

The winning were: 18, 58, 60, 65 and 67. The Mega Ball drawn was 20 with a Megaplier of 3x.

No one hit Tuesday’s $65 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million tickets sold across the country. In New Jersey, nine tickets matched four numbers. Two were purchased with the Megaplier option for an extra $1 and are worth $1,000 each. The other seven are valued at $500 apiece.

Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 4, 12, 14, 35 and 70. The Mega Ball drawn was 2 with a Megaplier of 2x.

The Mega Millions jackpot was last won in the Sept. 24 drawing. Someone who bought a ticket in Cedar Park, Texas - a suburb of Austin - won the $225 million jackpot.

The Mega Millions jackpot has been won five other times this year, including once in New Jersey. Michael J. Weirsky, of Warren County, won the $273 million Mega Millions jackpot from the March 1 drawing.

Mega Millions tickets cost $2 each and in New Jersey must be bought by 10:45 p.m. on the evening of the drawing. The odds of a ticket hitting the jackpot by matching five numbers and the Mega Ball are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have 1 in 12,607,306 shot to win the second prize of at least $1 million by matching five numbers.

Mega Millions is played in 44 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
