The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing is valued at an estimated $82 million with a cash option of $55.9 million.

The winning numbers were: 5, 11, 14, 23, 25. Mega Ball: 10 with a Megaplier of 4X

While no one hit Friday’s $71 million jackpot, a pair of second-prize tickets matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball were bought nationally. A ticket sold in Collegeville, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania is worth $1 million, while one purchased in Illinois is valued at $3 million since buyer spent an extra $1 for the Megaplier option.

In New Jersey, a $10,000 ticket for Friday’s drawing was sold at Sawyer’s Liquors on Atlantic City Boulevard in Beachwood, state lottery officials said. The third-prize ticket matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball.

Friday’s winning numbers were 18, 58, 60, 65 and 67. The Mega Ball drawn was 20, while the Megaplier was 3x.

The Mega Millions jackpot was last won in the Sept. 24 drawing. Someone who bought a ticket in Cedar Park, Texas - a suburb of Austin - won the $225 million jackpot.

The Mega Millions jackpot has been won five other times this year, including once in New Jersey. Michael J. Weirsky, of Warren County, won the $273 million Mega Millions jackpot from the March 1 drawing.

Mega Millions tickets cost $2 each and in New Jersey must be bought by 10:45 p.m. on the evening of the drawing. The odds of a ticket hitting the jackpot by matching five numbers and the Mega Ball are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have 1 in 12,607,306 shot to win the second prize of at least $1 million by matching five numbers.

Mega Millions is played in 44 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
