The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s lottery drawing is worth an estimated $296 million with a cash option of $201.6 million.

The winning numbers were: 39, 41, 53, 55 and 68. The Powerball drawn was 19 with a Megaplier of 2X.

The jackpot was most recently hit on Nov. 2 when a $150 million ticket was sold in California. It was the seventh and final jackpot-winning Powerball ticket sold across the country last year and had a cash option of $104.8 million. Since then, 20 drawings have been held without a top-prize winner, including Saturday when no one across the country hit a $277 million jackpot.

A pair of second-prize tickets were bought for Saturday’s drawing, each of which matched five numbers but not the Powerball. A ticket sold in Colorado is worth $2 million because the winner spent an extra $1 for the Power Play option. One purchased in Massachusetts is valued at $1 million.

In New Jersey, a $50,000 ticket was sold at Wegmans on Woodbridge Center Drive in Woodbridge, state lottery officials said. The third-prize ticket matched four numbers plus the Powerball.

Saturday’s winning numbers were: 3, 21, 23, 31 and 59. The Powerball drawn was 3 with a Megaplier of 2X.

The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while there’s about a 1 in 913,129 shot of winning the third prize of at least $50,000.

Powerball is played on Wednesday and Saturday in 44 states, Washington D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
