UPDATE: Mega Millions $202M jackpot won by lottery ticket sold in N.J.

The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $202 million with a cash option of $142 million.

The winning numbers were: 4, 6, 32, 52 and 64. The Mega Ball drawn was 6 with a Megaplier of 2X.

While no one hit Friday’s $187 million jackpot, three second-prize tickets were sold across the country, each matching five numbers but not the Powerball. A ticket bought in Oklahoma is worth $1 million, while tickets purchased in Buffalo, New York and Arizona are worth $3 million apiece because each winner spent an extra $1 for the Megapier option, officials said

Friday’s winning numbers were: 9, 14, 27, 36 and 52. The Mega Ball drawn was 4 with a Megaplier of 3X.

In New Jersey, a $10,000, third-prize ticket was bought at Dollar Plus on South Elmora Avenue in Elizabeth, New Jersey Lottery officials said.

The winner of the $375 million Mega Millions jackpot in the Dec. 17 drawing claimed the big prize in Ohio in January after forming a trust, lottery officials said. “The Great Hope Trust" chose the cash option and will receive $182,555,782 after 28% state and federal taxes are deducted.

Sold in Mentor, Ohio, it’s now the 32nd-largest prize in U.S. lottery history and the 14th largest Mega Millions jackpot dating to the game’s inception in 2002.

Mega Millions tickets cost $2 each and in New Jersey must be bought by 10:45 p.m. on the evening of the drawing. The odds of a ticket hitting the jackpot by matching five numbers and the Mega Ball are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 shot to win the second prize of at least $1 million by matching five numbers.

Mega Millions is played in 45 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
