Failed to catch Wednesday's Powerball drawing on your local TV station? Don't worry, you didn't miss much.
Lottery officials said the broadcast of the drawing for a jackpot worth $282 million was canceled and relocated because of evacuations from Hurricane Michael.
Originally planned at Florida lottery headquarters in Tallahassee, officials moved the drawing to a backup location in Urbandale, Iowa, read a statement from North Carolina Education Lottery.
"The drawing will take place at the same time with draw officials, security personnel, and independent auditors present," read the statement posted Wednesday.
No overall winner was deemed after the results of the drawing, boosting the jackpot to $314 million. The next drawing is Saturday.
Downgraded to a tropical storm, Michael lashed the Florida Panhandle in what was the most powerful hurricane on record to make landfall in the region. Two people have been reported dead, with power outages spread across five states.
