The Powerball jackpot is going up – to an estimated $345 million (with a cash option payout of $199 million) after there was no overall winner last night. The Saturday Powerball (10/13/18) drawing numbers results were 11, 14, 32, 43, 65, and a Powerball 15. The Power Play was 3X.
There was no overall Powerball winner last night, but unidentified players in Minnesota and Nebraska won “Match 5” prizes, officials said, worth $ 1 million. The Powerball jackpot now increases to $345 million. Tickets are $2 and must be purchased by 9:45 p.m. ET in most states on the day of the next drawing, scheduled for Wednesday (10/17/18).
Meanwhile, America’s other big national lottery jackpot game is at a near-record amount, with the next drawing scheduled for Tuesday night (10/16/18). Interest in the Mega Millions lottery is likely to soar, considering the jackpot will increase to $654 million (with a cash option of $372 million). That’s the second-largest Mega Millions jackpot ever, only $3 million shy of the all-time highest.
Tickets for Mega Millions are also $2. The deadline for purchasing ahead of Tuesday’s near-record drawing is 10:50 p.m. ET in most states.
