The drawing for the 14 Breeders' Cup World Championship Races takes place at 4 p.m. Monday at the Kentucky International Convention Center in downtown Louisville.
The event, called the Rood & Riddle Post Position Draw, assigns horses to the stalls they will start from in each race.
This year's post position draw is being held for the first time as part of Equestricon, an international horse-racing convention, fan festival and trade show that takes place Monday and Tuesday at the Kentucky International Convention Center.

The private event requires attendees to purchase tickets, which are offered in packages with varying levels of access to events and speakers.
