Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot has climbed to an estimated $121 million with a cash option of $78.6 million.

The winning numbers were: 8, 25, 38, 56, 59. The Mega Ball drawn was 7. The Megaplier was 2x.

Mega Millions has gone nine drawings without a top prize winner. It was last won on June 7 when someone who bought a lucky ticket in San Diego hit the $522 million jackpot - the 15th biggest in U.S. lottery history. The winner has yet to claim the money.

Though no one hit Tuesday’s $107 million jackpot, the only second-prize ticket sold in the country was bought in New Jersey - at a gas station in Monmouth County. It’s worth $2 million as the buyer spent an extra $1 for the Megaplier option.

Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 12, 26, 40, 48, 64. The Mega Ball drawn was 1. The Megaplier was 2x.

The Powerball lottery jackpot is up to $192 million for Saturday's drawing.

The Mega Millions jackpot has been hit four times this year, including once in New Jersey. Michael J. Weirsky, of Warren County, won the $273 million Mega Millions jackpot from the March 1 drawing.

Mega Millions tickets cost $2 each and in New Jersey must be bought by 10:45 p.m. on the evening of the drawing. The odds of a ticket matching five numbers and the Mega Ball are 302,575,350 to 1. It’s a 1 in 12,607,306 shot to win the second prize of at least $1 million by matching five numbers.

Mega Millions is played in 44 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
