The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $192 million with a cash option of $129.3 million.

The winning numbers were: 22, 43, 44, 47 and 66. The Mega Ball drawn was 22 with a Megaplier of 3X.

The jackpot was last hit on Sept. 24 when a Leander, Texas resident won the $227 million top prize. The winner chose to remain anonymous and took home $157,091,592.

No one hit Friday’s $178 million drawing, though there was a second-prize ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball sold in California. It’s worth $824,951 instead of the usual $1 million because California lottery prizes vary depending on ticket sales and number of winners. They differ from the fixed second prizes offered in other participating states.

In New Jersey, a $10,000 ticket was purchased Wawa on Hickory Corner Road in East Windsor, New Jersey Lottery officials said. It matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball.

Friday’s Mega Millions numbers were: 12, 19, 34, 35 and 68. The Mega Ball drawn was 20 with a Megaplier of 2X.

The top prize has been won six times this year, including once in New Jersey. Michael J. Weirsky, of Warren County, won the $273 million Mega Millions jackpot in the March 1 drawing.

Mega Millions tickets cost $2 each and in New Jersey must be bought by 10:45 p.m. on the evening of the drawing. The odds of a ticket hitting the jackpot by matching five numbers and the Mega Ball are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have 1 in 12,607,306 shot to win the second prize of at least $1 million by matching five numbers.

Mega Millions is played in 44 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
