Tarik Cohen had another productive game in Week 6 against the Miami Dolphins, but his fourth-quarter fumble will be remembered as the most costly turnover of the game.

Cohen coughed up the football on the Bears’ 45-yard line during a drive in which Chicago was trying to get into game-winning field-goal position. Instead, overtime ensued and the Bears suffered their second loss of the year.

“I know I took my team out of position to win the game late in the ballgame,” Cohen said after the game. “So personally, that’s frustrating for me.

“As a team, it’s frustrating because coming out in the third quarter, we see what our identity is, and then to let that slip away and come away with a loss here is just … we have to do better, and we have to get back to the drawing board.”

Cohen finished the game with seven catches for 90 yards and 31 yards on five carries, including an electric 21-yard touchdown run.

His backfield-mate, Jordan Howard, had a costly fumble of his own in the first half when he put the ball on the ground at the Dolphins’ one-yard line. Had he managed to cross the goal line, or just hold onto the ball, Chicago would’ve had at least a difference-making three points.

The Bears return home in Week 7 to face Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
